Synect at ACI-NA: Nir Bashan on enhancing the airport experience, the traveling video wall, and more!

The next leg of Synect’s traveling video wall tour starts this weekend at ACI-NA! On Sunday, September 17, Synect Executive Creative Director Nir Bashan will present at Airports Council International’s  Business Information Technology (BIT) Workshop on a session titled Solution Showcase – Improving the Airport Experience.

He’ll demonstrate how Synect’s digital materials can transform the airport experience across the entire passenger journey and share our unique approach to turning airport data into useful information.

MCO Celebrates Summer Travel, Next-Gen Digital Media

Summer has officially arrived at the Orlando International Airport, and millions of travelers are in for a big treat. The Greater Orlando Aviation Authority held a press conference today to unveil new content for their massive video wall canvas, which Synect helped launch in September of 2016, and provide their latest summer travel estimates. Click Orlando reports that more than a million passengers will pass through MCO between now and July 8 in a video that features the video wall and new content.

Digital canvas redefines passenger experience as part of airport’s multi-million dollar renovations 

ORLANDO – 26 September 2016 – SITA, the air transport technology provider, has partnered with Synect to design and install the ultra-high definition video wall, which fully integrates with the airport operational systems to deliver dynamic way-finding along with flight information, destination time and weather, security and gate information. In addition, the family-friendly airport can now display engaging games to entertain its young travelers and decrease perceived wait times.

Microsoft Store and Synect win DSA Award with Massive Video Wall Experience

In late 2014, Microsoft and Synect won a digital signage industry award for an immersive digital retail experience at the Microsoft Stores. The Titanfall Video Wall Experience debuted at the stores in March to promote the launch of the award-winning video game title. One of the year’s most anticipated releases, Titanfall was released at the Microsoft Stores with a series of midnight launches—and more than ten minutes of original digital content allowing customers to experience and the play the game on the store’s massive video walls.
