Synect at ACI-NA: Nir Bashan on enhancing the airport experience, the traveling video wall, and more!

The next leg of Synect’s traveling video wall tour starts this weekend at ACI-NA! On Sunday, September 17, Synect Executive Creative Director Nir Bashan will present at Airports Council International’s  Business Information Technology (BIT) Workshop on a session titled Solution Showcase – Improving the Airport Experience.

He’ll demonstrate how Synect’s digital materials can transform the airport experience across the entire passenger journey and share our unique approach to turning airport data into useful information.

Taking our Video Wall Show on the Road

One of the hardest things about working with video walls is that they simply must be seen. No picture, no video, no virtual environment can replicate the experience of standing in front of so many millions of vibrant pixels, all working in concert to deliver a visual show unlike any other.

It’s a challenge we’ve grappled with for years. Enter LG Electronics, who worked with us to develop a state-of-the-art traveling video wall using their beautiful, super-narrow bezel premium display.

Catch us with our traveling video wall at FTE Global & ACI-NA

Join Synect at Future Travel Experience (FTE) and Airports Council International - North America (ACI-NA) this year for the latest innovations in passenger experience. We’ll be demonstrating our traveling video wall and showcasing custom content for airports and airlines ranging from ticket counter canvases, to smart wayfinding, to our newly introduced FIDS of the future.

To the Best Year Ever

As we close the book on 2016 and gear up for the year to come, the Synect team has taken a little time to reflect, de-stress, and refocus.

A weeklong series of two-way employee and manager reviews raised our collective spirits—along with the occasional eyebrow—and gave each of us a unique opportunity to talk candidly about where we’ve been and where we want to go.

Harvest Week at Synect

Harvest Week is an annual Synect tradition leading up to Halloween. The brainchild of HR Manager Shelley Yohn, Harvest Week is five days of apple bobbing, costume contests, and other shenanigans in the spirit of Halloween.

Things got a little bit competitive with our pumpkin painting contest, which resulted in a four way tie between the studio’s Marcos Guevara and Alex Abuan and the Digital Media Technology Team’s Glenn Suboc and Robin Scher.
